Review of a few Camera Angles in the Movie Cruella

This is a high angle shot, you can see the tops of the cars and you are getting the whole picture. You are watching the actor move through the scene, you can feel the actor rushing across the street and into the building. Even though the picture is still you still get the idea that the actor is being watched as they rush into the building. You can feel the movement of the actor and you can see the bustle of the city, the other people and the cars moving through the city.

This a extreme close up, in this scene you are experiencing the emotion that the actor is going through. Before this scene you know that the actor has been through something that is conflicting you do not need to actually see the scene to know that something bad happened to her. There is concern in her eyes and sadness of something that had just happened. Through this scene, it is there to bring awareness to emotion and build the character and audience connection.

This I would call is an extreme long shot, that is because the camera is showing the view of the whole room that this event will take place in. Before the event happens you see the atmosphere of the event, I think that it is good for creating a feeling within the clip, and giving the audience a good picture of what is happening in the room. You see how many people are in the room and the energy of the party. You also see that there are models walking in the middle of the room that is giving you are idea of what the main purpose for having this party.

This is a full shot and a pan shot, I say that because it comes from the car passing to then two of the actors standing there. You then get the effect of a new chapter in the characters life, they are standing there and you can tell that they are kind of scared and worried for what is to come. The camera angle was done to get the emotions of the characters the mother is worried and comforting her child with her hand around her shoulders, while the young girl is standing there and has no enthusiasm as you can tell with he motionless body and the look on her face. Without the stance of the actors with the look on their faces you would find it hard to feel their emotions about the situation.

This is an action shot, it starts with the little girl coming from around the corner she then stops for a moment looking to see where she should go next, the camera then pans to her dog. The dog then runs off and the camera follows the dog and the girl then follows her dog. There is lots of movement within the shot and it is conveying the emotion that the little girl is running from something. So, just like other scenes you can tell what is going on without having too much background information on the situation. With the action you know that she is running from something.
